Batman Begins Redemption hits the market

Astra Games, part of NOVOMATIC UK, has reported highly encouraging feedback from the market to its recently launched ticket payout game, Batman Begins Redemption. The new model was officially unveiled in three-player guise at the recent Northern Showcase and initial reactions from operators indicate that it is proving to be a big hit with players out on location.

The game clearly has significant presence and walk-up appeal, especially in the multiplayer WOW cabinet which has been stunningly themed to bring the Dark Knight character to life in an arcade setting. A combination of vivid graphics, rich sound and simple game play is, according to Sales and Marketing Director Alan Rogers, winning over a growing number of redemption fans who are looking for a larger than life experience.

He commented: “Batman Begins is Astra Games’ first foray into what is a highly competitive sector of the market. We identified early on that there was a requirement from operators for an alternative provider of innovative, redemption style products. Hence we had to make something of a statement and offer a redemption experience unlike anything else that’s out there.

“With its instantly recognisable theme and commanding presence, Batman Begins Redemption certainly fulfils that ambitious brief. Everyone across all age groups recognises the Batman character and for all the right reasons. It has everything; fun, excitement, drama and entertainment in equal measure.
